Technology in the Curriculum
Final Project Summary II


Project Focus:	Design a bookmark file and a data base from book titles. 		
		
Background:		There  is a program at Washington called Partners in Reading.  We 	
		have received many small grants to purchase books.  Continually 
			teachers are telling us book titles they wish.  Sometimes we have
			the monies to purchase and other times we do not.  Teachers have	
			started a long wish list of book titles.  We need a workable tool
      			to manage our titles and a quick way have at our finger tips titles
			with an interest level for purchasers and readers.   

Project Outcomes:    Bookmarks of  Children’s Literature and a Corresponding Data
 			Base of Book Titles.  Also I hope to have a process whereby I can
 			sort and find special titles according to level, interest, etc.


The Time Line:         Complete data bank in July and continually add book titles.


The Evaluation
Format:                      Evaluate at the end of Partner’s in Reading School Year in April.
                                    Did the data base provide a service for volunteers and book
                                    purchasers?  Was it used?  Can it continue in its present form to be 
			a useful tool?
